The Mexico women's national team will face Colombia on Wednesday in the second of two friendlies between the teams in Mexico.
The two sides played out a scoreless draw in Ciudad Juárez on Friday, and the scene will now shift to the Estadio Agustín Coruco Díaz in Zacatepec.
Mexico is building toward qualification for the 2027 World Cup, which takes place next year. For Colombia, this will be a tune-up for the 2025 Copa América, which starts in July.

Mexico coach Pablo López has called in a side almost entirely comprised of players from Liga MX Femenil, with Reyna Reyes of the Portland Thorns and Rebeca Bernal of the Washington Spirit the two exceptions.

After the injured Annia Mejia was replaced by Ana Mendoza in June, an injury to Greta Espinoza saw the entry of uncapped Ivonne Gutierrez in the squad.
Among the players who have found the net between May and June, Jasmine Casarez and Diana Ordonez will both be pushing for starts after coming off the bench in the previous game.

As this will be the final preparatory game ahead of Colombia's 2025 Copa America Femenina campaign, coach Angelo Marsiglia is expected to field a strong side that would more or less resemble the lineup that is set to face Venezuela in mid-July.
As such, the likes of Carolina Arias, Daniela Arias, Catalina Usme, Linda Caicedo, Mayra Ramirez and Wendy Bonilla will all be eyeing to feature from the onset here.
