Tszyu was supposed to fight former welterweight champion Keith Thurman in a non-title bout. However, the latter was forced out of the fight a few weeks ago due to a bicep injury in training.

Fundora, already set to feature on the card against Serhii Bohachuk, got the call to replace Thurman and fight Tszyu in the main event. 6-foot-5 Fundora has stepped up to the task and will be a tough opponent for the champion, as he stands eight inches taller than Tszyu.

Tszyu vs Fundora: What has been said?

Tszyu is confident to win in Las Vegas despite the considerable height difference between the two.

“I’m not the one to fear,” he said.

“He should be fearing me. That’s the difference. Nothing stops me, no matter what.

“In my mind, I live in a different era to where we are now. We live in an era of Twitter battles rather than fighters.

“So I hope I can inspire more boxes out there. I saved the show – T-Mobile Arena, all of this stuff.

“Every other fighter that’s fighting on the undercard, it’s all because of my decision, and it was like that (without hesitation).”
