has already achieved more than the most in boxing. Known for his technical ability, he vacated his title at 135 pounds; he now aims for a new challenge at 140 and seeks to become a two-weight world champion.
Haney has held gold since 2019, when he beat Zaur Abdullaev for the interim WBC lightweight belt. He became undisputed champion after defeating George Kambosos Jr in Australia in June 2022.
Since then, he has successfully defended his crown twice, once in a rematch in Australia in October and then retained against modern legend Vasiliy Lomachenko in Las Vegas in May.

He is a high-caliber fighter with a distinguished career at 140 pounds, and a win over Haney will put him in line for better purses and maybe a chance to unify.
Prograis turned pro in 2012. He beat Luis Eduardo Florez in 2016 to win the NABF super lightweight title. In 2018, he won the interim WBC super lightweight title 2018 against Julius Indongo.
He competed in the World Boxing Super Series super lightweight tournament and beat Terry Flanagan and Kiryl Relikh (winning WBA gold). However, he failed to beat Josh Taylor in the finals for the IBF title. Since then, he has gone 5-0, winning the last bout on a split decision in June against Danielito Zorrilla.
