The Celebration of America 300 is the second race of the Oxford Plains Crown Jewel Triple Crown Series. Three marquee races at the Maine bullring make up the series, culminating with the biggest race of the year for PASS, the Oxford 250 on August 22-24.
In the first race of the Triple Crown, Joey Doiron picked up the victory in the Memorial Day Clash 200. He also won the inaugural Celebration of America 300 one year ago.
More than 30 drivers are currently entered for the Celebration of America 300. They'll compete in 75-lap qualifying races on Tuesday, July 1 to set the starting lineup for the 300-lap main event on Wednesday, July 2. If necessary, there will also be a last chane race on Wednesday prior to the feature.
The Super Late Models will be joined by the Kennebec Equipment PASS Modifieds on Tuesday, with a 100-lap feature for the open-wheel competitors. The Dow Excavating Limiteds, Spaulding Roofing Specialist Street Stocks and 207 Flight School Runnin' Rebels also race on Tuesday night.
The New England Supermodified Series joins the dance card on Wednesday night with a 75-lap feature. The Green Lawn Solutions Mad Bombers race for 50 laps on Wednesday as well.
